I did an Internet speed check, and it was sponsored by Ookla. For me, this is Ookla. I’m not the only one, am I?

I said it before, and I’ll say it again: You never disappoint, Nibby.
Never watched He-Man, though.

Lords of Light! At the time, I never understood that shows like Thundarr, and Ark II were making statements about the horrors of nuclear war and ecological ruin, and what a post-apocolyptic world might look like. It was just cool science fiction to me.

I never watched that show, but that screen grab makes me think that show was about as blatant a commercial for toys as it gets.

I was pretty young when it was on, but the opening sequence (a world of sorcery and super science.....) is permanently burned into my memory. That and the one where they built a walking on stilts train thing, and got the idea from an old surviving sci-fi magazine. This is why my brain feels full.

It worked. Who wouldn’t want to put lasers and armor on dinosaurs and make them battle each other on the living room floor, where everything except pillows is lava?
